Have you tried White Tea?

I am enjoying a nice cup of Harrisons & Crosfield White Tea with Blackcurrant.... Harrisons & Crosfield teas are skillfully selected and blended to exacting British quality standards by their London tea buyers. If you have never tried White Tea, White Tea reigns as one of the world's greatest teas! In this particular tea, the tea leaves are gently infused with the natural essence of blackcurrant. Also, White Tea has been proven to contain health beneficial antioxidants! Give White Tea a try.

Save your Local Economy!!

Yes, one person CAN make a difference! Take the 3/50 challenge... visit 3, and spend 50.... yes it is THAT simple to save your Local Economy!! This year has been a challenge for many of your locally owned and operated businesses. However, these very businesses are the local people who so readily contribute to your causes. Whether it is the Relay for Life, or the Fire Department Penny Social.... where DO all those contributions come from??? Now, more than ever, we need each other!!

Have a great day!! Ellen

The Artists' Cafe 09/12/2009

The Art Cafe last night was you could say "fun". I (Sam) personally do not enjoy art. However I enjoyed some of the people there and the talking, eating (of course), and laughing. The entertainment of the night was Zach Cooper, Josh Lennon, Trevor Hults, and Kyle Hults- sorry if I missed anyone. The music was lively and humorous. It was a very enjoyable event and most definetely one to remember. If Quimby & Smith should hold one again, if you did not this time, next time you should find yourself there enjoying the party. The Art by Canace are great abstract pieces with titles to leave you thinking. And like I said I don't like art so thats pretty good. My bff ever was there, Siobhan and she enjoyed it too. See you next time...Sam.

The children learn about an artist and their style, then make a craft pertaining to the lesson. Karen Wutch teaches the class, and she does an awesome job!! The last class we had the kids were so involved in their work that they forgot all about snack! I'll post a photo over the weekend, so you can see just what's going on.

The Present and The Future...Read This Now!

Today it is 74 degrees outside, sunny, with 49% humidity, and an over come of SAM!!! This isn't a boring weather forecast! If you are a very serious person turn around now! I am sitting in Quimby & Smith writing this page...enjoying the day. And because Pine Bush is always buzzing it would seem appropriate that tomorrow is the second ever Pine Bush Arts Tour. What is an Arts Tour? Well if you didn't go to the first one (shame on you) then you probably don't know- unless one of your cool friends who did go told you. Well the Arts Tour entals a day of all kinds of art- sculptures, paintings, pottery, music, jewelry and more. One of my personally favorite artists- James Lo Rubbio will be at Reflections Hair Studio- go see his work! Well I have to go for now...Tootles!
